Scouting Report
Big, strong young man who is a hitter. Good awareness and good positionally. Reads the play well. Big, hard shot. Shot up developmentally, as he had zero major junior experience before this season.
Skating has improved, but he's still on the slow side with poor footwork. Outlet passing needs work, as well.
Depth physical defenseman

"Big, raw blue-liner has come looong way since training camp. Skating is still not a strength, but has improved a TON. Very strong upper body and plays physically - regularly knocks even strong forwards off their feet. Good defensive zone awareness and sound positioning. Reads and anticipates puck movement well. Shows surprisingly strong patience with the puck and a willingness to handle it and make plays. Hard shot from the point and good decisions in distribution. Makes good D-to-D passes, but show inconsistent accuracy on his outlets. Plays a steady, unspectacular game, but may not have the speed or footwork to play at a higher level.
Projection: Heavy-footed organizational depth guy.
Style compares to: Mark Fraser" (Red Line Report)
