Boutin, Rosehill Sent to Johnstown for Playoffs

The Springfield Falcons have announced that goaltender Jonathan Boutin and defenseman Jay Rosehill will join the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL for the playoffs. The Chiefs begin their opening round series tonight vs. the Trenton Titans. Boutin has played in 19 games for the Chiefs this season posting a record of 8-9-2-0 with a 2.93 goals against average and .920 save percentage. He participated in the ECHL All-Star Game stopping eight of 10 shots on goal in 20 minutes of action on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in Fresno, California. In 22 games with the Falcons this year, Boutin has posted a record of 8-12-2 with a 3.13 goals against average with a .900 save percentage. Rosehill started the season with Johnstown playing in five games with the Chiefs before being recalled by Springfield on October 29. In 45 games with the Falcons, Rosehill has one goal and two assists for three points and 68 penalty minutes.
