CHL Playoffs Tonight: 5/9

Season over. WHL Vancouver put the final touches on a 4-0 sweep of Moose Jaw tonight defeating the Warriors 6-3. Lightning prospect Blair Jones was scoreless and even with 2 penalty minutes in the game. Jones finishes second in the WHL in playoff scoring with 9 goals and 21 points in 22 games, 9 points behind Blue Jackets first rounder Gilbert Brule. With the exception of overage prospects Andreas Holmqvist and Fredrik Norrena who are currently playing for their respective nations in the World Championships, Jones and Moose Jaw's season ending defeat brings an end to the Lightning prospect season. Once the World Championships are complete, Bolt Prospects will begin to post our Final Rankings for the 2005-2006 season beginning with the top five overage prospects in the Lightning organization.
