Kudos to Jones

The only first year CHL prospect to survive.

He looked very strong

He looked very strong today, great in the faceoff cricle and was throwing his body around and mucking in corners...was good to see

Impressive

The knock on him when Sutter traded him was that he didn't play with enough jam, but he really seems to be establishing that he is a responsible two way player who isn't afraid to get dirty.

Elliott

He played hard when I was there Sunday and put up points on a couple of days. I know he's not ready yet, but I wish he would have been rewarded with a trip. He may be a sleeper. He looked better than I ever imagined he could be.

Poor Conditioning

He showed up out of shape. That's what got him the door.
