Preseason Game Night 9/22: Lightning at Red Wings

An unfortunate end to a very nice comeback. TB-4 DET-5 (OT) The Lightning erased a 2 goal deficit in the final 5 minutes of regulation before falling in OT. Vincent Lecavalier led the way with a hat trick scoring an even strength goal, a short handed goal and capping the Lightning comeback with a power play goal. The Lightning's other goal was scored by overage prospect Eric Perrin. Individual assists went to Vaclav Prospal, Doug Janik, Ryan Craig, Nikita Alexeev, Martin St. Louis and Brad Richards. Johan Holmqvist had a rough reintroduction to North America allowing 5 goals on 26 shots (that's more of a Johan Grahame stat line).
