Henrich and Hrdel Reassigned to Johnstown

A Springfield Falcons press release was issued stating Adam Henrich and Zbynek Hrdel have been reassigned to ECHL Johnstown. Henrich was in the Falcons lineup for their season opening, 3-2 win, over the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, October 7, but didn’t register a point. The 6-foot-4, 238-pound native of Thornhill, Ontario split the 2005-06 season between Springfield and Johnstown recording 18 goals and 26 assists for 44 points in 63 games shared between the Falcons and Chiefs. Hrdel also was in the Falcons’ opening night lineup, but was a healthy scratch for both games against the Norfolk Admirals this past weekend. Hrdel also shared time in both Springfield and Johnstown last season collecting 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 61 total games split between the Falcons and Chiefs.

henrich benig sent down?

this is b.s. man...this kid is a 2nd rounder that was never given a chance to show his skills on a decent line, he was used in springy's home opener as a 10/11 forward...its funny the 1 game he was in (which he recorded 2 shots) they won and then they pulled him and they lost the next 2...what are your opinions guys?

Skating Bad, Work Ethic Worse

His skating has never improved and his work ethic has been poor over the past couple of years. He's never really trained and conditioned like he should have and once in the games he doesn't use his size and strength and clings to the perimeter.
