Chiefs Acquire Center for Cash

Jacobson, a former 9th round pick of the St. Louis Blues in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, scored 15 goals and 46 points in 68 games last season between Reading and Columbia. The 6'3" 210 pound 23 year old played parts of six seasons between Regina and Kamloops of the WHL before spending a year with the University of Manitoba in the CIS prior to turning pro last season. His best junior campaign came in 2003-2004 as an overage player when he scored 18 goals and 52 points in 71 games for Kamloops.
