Kevin Beech stopped 54 shots (not a typo) and was named first star of the game in Sudbury's 4-2 win over Owen Sound. Marek Bartanus was a scratch in the game for the Attack.

Dane Crowley was even with 4 penalty minutes as Swift Current caught a beat down from Kootenay 7-3.

Vladimir Mihalik had a power play assist and was even as Prince George fell to expansion Chilliwack 4-3.
