ECHL Game Night 12/16: Cyclones at Chiefs

1-0-1 against Cincinnati this weekend is pretty good considering how badly the Cyclones outplayed Johnstown.

CIN-2
JHN-3 (OT)

Gerald Coleman stopped 10 of 10 shots he faced in the first period before leaving the game with 13 seconds left in the frame with what is being categorized as a "lower body injury". Morgan Cey entered the game and stopped 25 of 27 the rest of the way for the win. Adam Henrich led the way with 1 goal and 1 assist including the game winning overtime talley. Radek Smolenak and Doug Andress had the other Chiefs goals with individual helpers belonging to Andre Deveaux, Jean Desrochers, Ian MacLean and Geoff Waugh. Henrich now has 6 goals and 16 points in 14 games this season as he battles to earn a new contract for next season. He and Smolenak were first and second stars of the game, respectively.

Has there been any update on

Has there been any update on Coleman's injury? Havent seen one and was curious as people on the Johnstown board said it didnt look good

According to the

According to the Tribune-Democrat he injured his leg while skating out of his crease cut off a puck going wide of the net. Apparently he stayed face down on the ice for several minutes while the trainers looked after him and he had to be helped off the rink. So, from that standpoint, no, it doesn't look good at all. I'm sure we'll be looking into the situation with our sources, but the surest sign it's bad will be if there's some sort of transaction to get another goaltender into J-town. If it's more than an emergency backup signing, you know he'll be shelved for a while. I wonder where/if Gabe Winer is playing right now.

Yeah, theyre just a bit slow

Yeah, theyre just a bit slow at times on the website in reporting things and no one seems to know on the Johnstown message board at the moment. Definitely want to hear an update if you get one as the accounts I did read said it didnt look good at all like you stated as well.

Kinda odd that its been a couple days and nothing, thought I'd ask :)
