Andreas Holmqvist had a power play assist today in Linkopings' 5-3 win over Brynas. Linkopings vaulted to 4th on the Elitserien table with today's victory.

One of the comments from the Lightning scouting department on Holmqvist was: "You just never know when a guy may get it."

Holmqvist has always had a lot of potential but couldn't put the package together.

FYI: His last stop in North America was the 04-05 season when he had 3 goals and 9 assists in 42 games for a bad Springfield team. The year before, he had 4 goals and 37 points for Pensacola in the ECHL (63 games).
