Alexeev Scores In Superleague Opener

Last night marked the opening of the Traverse City Prospect Tournament and today marks the beginning of the European hockey season as the Russian Superleague kicks off it's regular season schedule. Bolt Prospects will update scores as they become available.

Avangard Omsk defeated Novosibirsk 4-3 today in overtime. Lightning left wing prospect Nikita Alexeev scored Omsk's second goal in the victory.

In other news, winger Alexei Glukhov has rejoined the Khimik organization and had 2 penalty minutes in the team's opening 5-2 loss to Novokuznetsk.
