First Cuts Are In

The Lightning's first round of cuts have been posted on tampabaylightning.com. All have been assigned to Norfolk.

D, Dan Jancevski
C, Blair Jones
D, Jay Leach
RW, Norm Milley
D, David Schneider
LW, Karl Stewart

Prospects surviving include Matt Smaby, Mike Lundin, and Karri Ramo.

The battle for the last defensive spot goes down to Smaby, Lundin, Bryce Lampman, and Doug Janik.

Up to Two

With Boyle being out the next 3-6 weeks, it looks as if two of the remaining dmen mentioned will be staying, one temporarily. It will afford them the opportunity to play against NHL competition. Then upon Boyle's return, one will come to visit us up this way in Norfolk.
