NHL Game Night 10/29: Lightning at Rangers
OK, I'm officially concerned with how the team is performing on the road.
TB-1
NYR-3
Johan Holmqvist played well stopping 32 of 35 shots in the loss, although he had the benefit of several posts and crossbars.
First Period
NY Rangers 7:40, Nigel Dawes 3 (Paul Mara, Brendan Shanahan)
Second Period
Tampa Bay 6:28, Vincent Lecavalier 6 (penalty shot)
Third Period
NY Rangers 10:45, Jaromir Jagr 3 (power play) (Michal Rozsival, Chris Drury)
NY Rangers 13:29, Brendan Shanahan 2 (power play) (Chris Drury, Jaromir Jagr)
The Lightning were outshot 35-22 and looked slow, flat, and disorganized. It's been a common thread in all their road games this season. I smell a team meeting.
Mike Lundin played 15:15 with 1 shot on goal.
Mathieu Darche played 12:05 with 1 shot and 2 hits.
Dan Boyle played 11:38 with 1 hit in his return, primarily on the power play.
