As expected, Lightning 2007 second round pick Dana Tyrell has been named to Team Canada's 2008 World Junior Championship Selection Camp roster.
Tyrell, who played for Canada in their SuperSeries vs. Russia this past summer, currently has 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points in 29 games for Prince George of the WHL.

Can play for me any day of the week.

I wish they'd leave him and Fadden together on a line. They have for the most part. Fadden has him by 8 points in as many games.
Update on Tyrell's knee
Apparently he left his last game with a knee injury. He says he must have fallen over his own feet because he doesn't remember contact.
At any rate, after a doc checked it out - he's fine. No ligament damage, despite the fact his knee cap was temporarily out of place.
He'll be in WJC camp on Monday.
