Anton But scored his 5th goal of the season in SKA's 6-3 loss to Tver. But has 5 goals and 10 points through 26 games this year. Denis Kazionov of Tver did not play as he remains on tour with the Russian contingent in the CHL-Russia Challenge.

CHL Game Night: 11/24

Chris Lawrence had 1 goal and 1 assist and was -1 with 2 penalty minutes in Mississauga's 7-3 loss to Barrie.

Marek Bartanus was -2 in Owen Sound's 7-4 loss to Sault Ste Marie.

Kevin Beech stopped 29 of 32 shots faced before stopping just 2 of 4 shooters in Sudbury's 4-3 shootout loss to Ottawa.

Vladimir Mihalik and Prince George shutout Chilliwack 5-0. Mihalik did not hit the scoresheet and had an even rating. He also had a minor penalty (cross checking).

Johan Holmqvist stopped 23 of 25 shots faced for the win. Dan Boyle had a pair of goals for the Lightning including the tying goal with the extra attacker with 21 seconds left that was a point shot which deflected off of two Thrashers and in to force overtime. Martin St. Louis had 1 goal and 1 assist with his overtime winning goal coming off some incredible work in the corner by Vaclav Prospal who, along with Vincent Lecavalier, Filip Kuba, Ryan Craig and Cory Sarich, had individual helpers in the game. The overtime win moves the Lightning within five points of the division leader with games in hand on both Atlanta and Carolina.

AHL Game Night 11/24: Falcons at Sharks

Karri Ramo stopped 31 of 32 shots faced including a third period in which he weathered the Falcons being outshot 14-3 by stopping all shots he faced. He now improves to 8-3-0 this year with a 2.89 GAA and .911 save percentage with 1 shutout. John Adams led the way for the Falcons with 1 goal and 2 assists. Veteran Daniel Corso had 1 goal and 1 assist as well. Marek Kvapil and Eric Healey had 2 helpers in the game. Stanislav Lascek and Adam Henrich, a pair of recalls from Johnstown who are settling in nicely in Springfield, had the other Springfield goals. Andy Delmore had an individual assist. With the win, the Falcons are now over .500 for the first time this year since their opening night win over Hartford. Adams, Ramo and Corso were the three stars of the game.

ECHL Game Night 11/24: Chiefs at Royals

I'm amazed at how well Johnatown has played with Spina and Lascek getting called up.

Gerald Coleman stopped 38 of 43 for the victory as the Chiefs were outshot 43-27. Rookie Maxime Boisclair led the way for Johnstown with a hat trick and a pair of assists. Veteran Randy Rowe chipped in 4 assists. Andre Deveaux had 1 goal and 2 assists. Radek Smolenak and PJ Atherton each had 1 goal and 1 assist as well. Doug Andress also had a goal for the Chiefs. Zbynek Hrdel and rookie Gus Katsuras had individual assists in the game. Boisclair, Rowe and Deveaux were named the game's three stars.
