Game Night 1/25: Falcons at Wolf Pack
So much for the resurgent Brian Eklund.

Eklund allowed 6 goals on 36 shots faced. Dennis Packard led the way for Springfield with a short handed goal and an assist. Gerard Dicaire continued to shine since his recall from Johnstown with a helper of his own.

ECHL All-Star Skills Competition Results
Submitted by pete on January 25, 2006 - 19:21The results of last night's ECHL skills competition are in. Jonathan Boutin scored middle of the pack in the rapid fire and breakaway events. The ECHL All-Star game takes place tonight at 10pm ET.

Jaspers Reassigned to Springfield
Submitted by pete on January 25, 2006 - 00:46Center Jason Jaspers has been reassigned to Springfield of the AHL. The transaction actually took place Sunday once it became clear Tim Taylor's injuries were too minor to hold him out of the lineup. Springfield plays the Hartford Wolfpack Wednesday night.

ECHL All-Star Game Tonight
Submitted by pete on January 25, 2006 - 00:32The ECHL All-Star Game is slated for Wednesday night at 10pm Eastern Time from Fresno, California. The skills competition occurred Tuesday night and Bolt Prospects will post the results up as soon as we get them. This post is just to make a programming note to anyone who wants to watch the game. Lightning goaltending prospect Jonathan Boutin will be one of the starters in the contest. You've got three chances to catch the game:
1.) Nationwide the game will be carried live on the NHL Center Ice package on your Game 7 channel.
2.) Word on the street is that Catch 47 will also be carrying the game live to the local market in Tampa Bay.
3.) OLN will be carrying the game on tape delay Thursday night at 5pm.
Whichever way you tune in, tune in and support one of the Lightning's exciting young prospects.
