Offense clicking and back to .500. Time to unleash some revenge on the Canes. TB-6 WSH-4 Marc Denis stopped 29 of 33 for the win. Nikita Alexeev, of all people, had a pair of goals while Brad Richards and Martin St. Louis had a goal and an assist each. Vincent Lecavalier and Andreas Karlsson also had goals while Pratt, Tarnasky, Taylor, Afanasenkov and Boyle all had individual helpers. For Nick Tarnasky, it was his first point of the season. Game sheet from NHL.com. Doug Janik blocked one shot in 8:44. Eric Perrin was -1 with 1 block in 12:36. Tarnasky was +1 in 3:39 with 4 penalty minutes. It cannot be underestimated how important it was for Brad Richards to finally score a goal or what a great omen it is for "the big three" to all get goals tonight. The Lightning should be going into these upcoming games against Carolina confident and ready to prove they've got a legitimate contender for the division title this year.
