Sadly, this was actually an improvement. SPR-3 HFD-5 Gerald Coleman stopped 41 of 46 and had an assist in the game. Gerard Dicaire, rightfully, was a scratch so the Falcons again went with 5 defensemen and Tarnasky with Ray Schultz's return to the lineup. Tarnasky scored his 10th and 11th goals of the season while Dan Cavanaugh had a goal and an assist. Helpers were also earned by Norm Milley, Jason Jaspers and Darren Reid. University of Maine defenseman Mike Lundin recently missed the better part of four games due to an injury suffered when he was slashed on the right hand vs. Merrimack. The tip of Lundin's little finger was nearly sliced completely off and doctors at the game had to re-attach it. He also suffered a broken bone in his finger in the incident. Yesterday Lundin told the Bangor News that the finger is healing nicely as he gets ready for the team's Frozen Four match-up against Wisconsin. "It feels a lot better now," he said. "I can move it around. Before, when I'd move it around, I felt a tug, and I didn't want that to happen because it could damage it."
