Reid and Tarnasky Recalled

ESPN is reporting C Nick Tarnasky and RW Darren Reid [url=http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/transactions]have been recalled from Springfield of the AHL.[/url] Tarnasky scored a hat trick last night including the overtime game winning goal against Bridgeport while Reid has been one of Springfield's best players over the past month.

CHL Tonight: 3/4

[b]QMJHL[/b] There were no Lightning prospects in action in the QMJHL tonight. [b]OHL[/b] Kevin Beech stopped 34 of 37 shots faced before beating Trevor Cann in the shootout as Sudbury bested Peterborough 4-3. Marek Bartanus remained out of the lineup while Mike Angelidis scored 4 goals in Owen Sound's 6-2 beat down of Guelph. [b]WHL[/b] Blair Jones had three assists as Moose Jaw came back from a 4-1 deficit to beat Regina 5-4. Jones was named first star of the game. Justin Keller was held scoreless as Kelowna fell to Portland 2-1. Vladimir Mihalik was scoreless with 2 PIMs as Red Deer lost on penalty shots 6-5 to Swift Current.

In the last game there were 0 minutes of good effort. Tonight there were about 41. Lets try to make it 60 next time out. MTL-6 TB-2 John Grahame, who was a trainwreck, allowed 6 goals on 22 shots. But Scores Late Game Tying Goal for Yaroslavl

Left wing Anton But scored with 1:47 left in the third period to help Loko achieve a 1-1 tie with Kazan today. The goal was But's 15th of the season. Elsewhere, Novokuznetsk beat Togliatti 5-4. Vasily Koshechkin saw his record fall to 17-13-6 with the loss. There are just two tours remaining before the Superleague's 16 team playoff tournament begins. Just one point seperates Dynamo from 7th place Spartak. Vasily Koshechkin and young Togliatti have fallen to 10th on the table, two points ahead of 11th place Nizhenekamsk. Alex Polushin and Cherepovets are in 13th losing the tie breaker right now to 12th place SKA St Petersburg.
