Doug O'Brien [11] and Eric Healey scored the Falcons' goals with assists belonging to David Spina, Andy Rogers [12], Norm Milley and Andy Delmore. Daniel Corso and Healey also notched the winning markers in the shootout session.
The victory moves Springfield back to .500 at 21-21-1, 3 points back of Providence for the final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division.
