Chris Lawrence [3] continues to put up points, this time earning two assists in Mississauga's 6-3 win over Toronto on Friday night. The IceDogs had 60 shots in the game. Lawrence also had a fighting major in the third period against Rob Kweit. Lawrence was plus-1 for the game.
Marek Bartanus [4] hit the scoresheet for the second game in a row after being held scoreless for 14 straight games when he notched a second period assist in Owen Sound's 6-3 loss in Plymouth. He had an even rating for the game.
According to one of the Ontario papers, Kevin Beech [5] and Erie didn't figure to have much of a chance against OHL powerhouse Kitchener Friday night. The paper was right. The Rangers put 50 shots on Beech, who stopped 42 of them in an 8-3 loss. The game was 5-0 entering the third period.
After two losses, Prince George returned to their winning ways with a 9-0 shellacking of Portland in Prince George. Vladimir Mihalik [6] had a shorthanded assist and a fight vs. Tayler Jordan. Jordan is a 6-6 winger with one goal and one point on the year to go with 93 PIM. Mihalik was plus-1.
Dane Crowley [7] and Everett squeaked by Spokane 2-1 in Everett. Crowley was scoreless, but was on the ice for both of the Silvertips' goals to finish plus-2.
