Jonathan Boutin [4] returned to the Springfield net and made 35 saves, but it wasn’t enough to steal a win against the Sharks. Steve Bernier, who started the year on a scoring line in San Jose, scored the game winner for Worcester in a 2-1 win. The Sharks outshot the Falcons 37-21.
The Falcons got their goal from defenseman Doug O’Brien, with assists going to Daniel Corso and Jay Rosehill [5]. This was the first goal in 10 games for O’Brien.
Gerald Coleman [6] served as the back-up goaltender.
