Marc Denis gave the Lightning just what they needed stopping 29 of 30 shots faced. Vincent Lecavalier [4] led the way with a pair of goals while Vaclav Prospal [5] had 1 goal and 1 assist. Martin St. Louis [6] had a pair of helpers and Brad Richards [7], Dan Boyle and Doug Janik [8] each had individual assists.
The Lightning climb back into a tie for the Southeast Division lead at 80 points with Atlanta holding a game in hand.
