Lewiston MAINEiacs 4 @ Moncton Wildcats 3 (SO)
D Michael Ward , LEW: 0-1-1, +1, 0 PIM, 2 shots on goal
Kelowna Rockets 1 @ Kamloops Blazers 2 (SO)
G Torrie Jung , KEL: SOL, stopped 21 of 22 shots
Jung is still considered the leader in Kelowna’s goaltending battle, though he has dropped 3 of his last 5 games (1-2-0-2) and was pulled after giving up 3 goals on 3 shots in another. He has started 7 straight games for Kelowna after watching from the bench for most of the first part of the year. Jung stopped 2 of 3 shooters in the shootout, allowing the first shooter to beat him with a quick shot 5-hole. Even so, Jung is now 0-8 in shootouts in his career including 0 and 5 this season. Kelowna clinched a playoff spot with the win. The Rockets were on the outside looking in last season.
Medicine Hat Tigers 1 @ Lethbridge Hurricanes 2 (SO)
C Mitch Fadden , LET: 0-0-0, +1, 0 PIM
Fadden was stopped in his shootout attempt. Zach Boychuk scored Lethbridge’s regulation goal, but was also stopped in the shootout.
Crowley was reportedly a workhorse defensively for Everett. Tyrell scored his goal on a penalty shot earned while his team was shorthanded. According to the Prince George Citizen, Tyrell used "a suitcase full of moves before he sent the puck into the top shelf of the Everett net behind goaltender Leland Irving."
