Alexandre Imbeault had a hat trick and four points as the Blades beat the Royals 7-4 Wednesday. The Naples News reported late Wednesday evening that ECHL leading scorer and Lightning prospect Mitch Fadden will miss the remainder of the season with a blood clot. He will return to his native British Columbia when he’s permitted by doctors to fly. Goaltender Jaroslav Janus [10] is with Norfolk of the AHL and Alex Hutchings remains out with a lower body injury.
UPDATE TO NAPLES NEWS REPORT: Lightning General Manager Steve Yzerman told the St. Pete Times that Fadden is out for a minimum of three months. While this is essentially the rest of his season, technically he could join the Blades for a portion of the playoffs.
