Namestnikov is small in stature and needs to gain upper body strength. Can be aggressive to the point of recklessness and has a tendency to put himself in a position to get cleaned out by big hits. He's a good skater, but doesn't have explosive burst, and although you can take the kid out of Russia, you can't take Russia out of the kid: he does have a tendency to freelance with the puck at times and not involve his linemates.
