There was no let-down for the Armada after being top-ranked Quebec last game out, as they crushed Sherbrooke, 7-0. Paquette is now over a point per game pace on the season. His fifth goal of the young season was scored in the first period and gave the Armada a 3-0 lead. Blainville-Boisbriand (7-1-0-1) was ranked second in the latest CHL Top 10, one spot behind Quebec.

Artem Sergeev extended his point streak to three games with an assist, but Val-d’Or couldn’t overcome two two-goal deficits to defeat the Wildcat in Moncton. Allain Saulnier (undrafted) had two goals for Moncton. Sergeev is plus-6 in his last two games.
Note: Nikita Kucherov [11] (Quebec) remains out with a shoulder injury. He is expected back before the end of the month.
