Remparts coach Patrick Roy went against his initial import player rotation and kept the Russians Kucherov and Grigorenko in the lineup. Grigorenko had Quebec’s only goal, with the primary assist going to his good friend Kucherov, who has at least a point in every game he’s played so far this season.

Richard extended his point streak to 13 games with an assist. It’s the longest current streak in the OHL and the second-longest overall streak this season behind rookie Conner McDavid of Erie, who had a 15-game streak. Brett Ritchie (Stars) had four goals for Niagara on Saturday.
