He and his Huskies had a satisfying win on Friday when Kucherov’s new team beat his old team, 4-1. Kucherov was traded from Quebec after a decision was made to sit Kucherov as an “extra” import player. A trade was worked out to benefit both teams. On Friday, the team with Kucherov scored three times in the third period to claim victory.
