After responding quickly after allowing a goal just a minute into the match, Florida ended up getting pummeled on the scoreboard, allowing eight goals, three which while on the power play, on just twenty-seven shots en route to a humiliating loss to Orlando. Pat Nagle was pulled early in the second and ended up a no-decision. Dan Milan, who had not played since the Toledo game on the 16th, was back in the lineup. Maxime Langelier-Parent, still recovering from an injury sustained early in the season, were inactive.
