According to the Springfield Falcons, goaltender Gerald Coleman
has been reassigned to Springfield by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lightning goalie Sean Burke has recovered from a broken finger and is expected to serve as back-up goaltender tonight in Tampa vs. the Atlanta Thrashers.
Coleman will join the Falcons on Friday as Springfield prepares to host the Hartford Wolf Pack at the MassMutual Center starting at 7:35 PM.
Coleman has played in 36 games for the Falcons this season collecting a 13-17-3 record with a 3.54 goals against average and .890 save percentage. He continues to lead all Falcons goaltenders in games played and wins.
