BoltProspects: Paradis carried the puck back into SYR's end before losing it and the result was a quick feed to a wide-open Donovan behind SYR's D.

BoltProspects: Firsts? That's a first.

BoltProspects: Angelidis and Riley waging war with their firsts. The Captain had his hands full. Lots of jostling with Riley scoring the eventual takedown.

BoltProspects: Damn. Was really hoping the puck would make its way by Ceddy's loose water bottle so it would get sent hard around the boards by accident.

BoltProspects: The discrepancy in shot events making it to the net is glaring: TB finished 42%. PIT? 66%. PIT rewarded for better process.

BoltProspects: By the way, TB finished with 45 shot attempts (19 on goal, 12 blocked, 14 missed), PIT with 62 (41 on goal, 11 blocked, 10 missed).

BoltProspects: @SteveOtt3 Cooper said game situations (PKs and score heading into 3rd, for example) had something to do with it.

BoltProspects: @SteveOtt3 Cooper addressed Connolly's limited ice time in his post-game presser. If displeased with a part of 14's game, he wasn't sharing.

BoltProspects: Didn't get a chance to speak with Brett Connolly but @erlendssonTBO did and should have some good stuff from the young sniper.

BoltProspects: @MikeCorcoranNHL Malone was really impressive along the boards, too, I thought.

BoltProspects: Cooper echoed Johnson's thoughts in the post-game presser, said it was tough to watch "'A' opportunities passed up" for lesser ones.

BoltProspects: One thing that hasn't changed since Boucher's departure: a coach frustrated by quality shot attempts not taken in favor of extra passes.

BoltProspects: Johnson: "We're looking for back-door tap-ins but if we could just get some greasy ones...it's just a mentality our team has to adjust."

BoltProspects: Johnson: "I thought we were being a little too cute and it's something we've got to get away from."

BoltProspects: Johnson expressed severe disappointment, particularly with TB's 3rd period effort and "cutesy" plays with the puck.
