Mathieu Darche is hoping life begins at 30, a ripe time to become a National Hockey League regular.
Darche has been a minor-league star for years, but the St. Laurent native has never been able to catch on permanently with an NHL club.
He's hoping, almost praying, this year will be different as a third-line winger with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"As long as I'm here, I don't ask questions," Darche said before last night's faceoff against the Bruins in Boston.
