Brady Greco scored his first professional goal. Unfortunately, ECHL.com's scoresheet doesn't tell much else, other than the fact David Currie was in net. Will post a full box score when it becomes available.
Update
Some 36 or so hours later ECHL.com finally has the box score. Zbynek Hrdel also had an assist on the game on top of Brady Greco's goal.
Hard to believe the Lightning actually trailed in this game early in the third.

Tarnasky and Artyukhin were effective in limited ice time. Artyukhin with his first NHL point assisting on Andreychuk's game winning goal. Paul Ranger returned with 13:57 of ice time, 1 takeaway, 3 giveaways, 2 blocked shots and a -1 rating. I thought he struggled a bit at times. It might be considered natural that he wasn't as aggressive as usual given what he's been through. Artyukhin and Tarnasky each got a shade under 5 and a half minutes of ice time, both +1, and Evgeny landed 2 hits on the game.

Today, the Springfield Falcons have announced that they have recalled Adam Henrich from Johnstown of the ECHL. Also,as expected, the Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled Nick Tarnasky and Evgeni Artyukhin. Both are likely to dress for tonight's game against the Devils.
Fran Sypek speculates that with Brady Greco being sent down to Johnstown of the ECHL that defenseman Todd Rohloff is likely close to returning to the lineup for the Falcons.ff was injured in Springfield's season opener when a hit from behind led to an awkward legs first spill into the end boards. Greco will be a welcome addition to a Johnstown club that is in need of a competent puckmoving defenseman.
Evgeny Artyukhin and Nick Tarnasky are slated to be recalled tomorrow for the Lightning's game against the New Jersey Devils. They could be joined in the lineup by defenseman Paul Ranger who returned to practice Monday after suffering a hairline jaw fracture and a concussion at the point of Eric Boulton's elbow in Atlanta.
Lightning prospect Albert Vishnyakov missed Monday's Moscow Dynamo match after being involved in an automobile accident according to Eugene Belashenko of Russianprospects.com. Vishnyakov suffered a bruised knee and a lasceration on his face. As a consequence he is expected to miss a couple of weeks recovering. Thankfully the injuries were not major.
After a brief two game losing streak Linkopings regained form today. Fredrik Norrena stopped 17 of 17 shots in a 3-0 victory over Brynas for the shut out. Norrena's record improved to 9-2-1 on the season.
Lightning prospect netminder Vasily Koshechkin finally surrendered a goal today, a goal. Unfortunately that was all Khimik MO needed to defeat Togliatti 1-0. Koshechkin's record drops to 4-2-0 as a starter.
Elsewhere, Alex Polushin scored the opening goal in Cherepovets' 2-2 tie with Molot Perm. The goal was Polushin's 6th of the season.
I wasn't going to make the accusation, but Coach Anzalone took his team's conditioning to task after the Chiefs' home opening loss to Reading. In the Lightning system, conditioning is key to generating forecheck and generating forecheck is the key to everything. Now if they can just find a defenseman to hit a breakout pass consistently...
J.F. Soucy now has 2 assists in 3 ECHL games this season as he added a helper to his total in last night's 7-3 loss to the Utah Grizzlies. The agitating forward also had 6 minutes in roughing penalties on the game.
Although he's been quiet offensively in recent weeks, LW Johan Hagglund scored a power play goal today in Oskarshamn's 4-3 OT victory over Sundsvall. Hagglund has 2G 1A in 9 games this season with a +5 rating primarily on the team's second line. Oskarshamn is currently 4th in the Allsvenskan just 2 points back of first place Malmo.
