D Michael Ward, LEW: 0-1-1, -1, 0 PIM, 1 SOG

QMJHL
St. John Sea Dogs 3 @ Moncton Wildcats 2 (OT)
D Mark Barberio, MON: 0-1-1, E, 2 PIM (delay of game), 1 SOG
Barberio feathered a cross-ice pass described as “unbelievable†to set up the game tying goal, but while shorthanded in the closing minutes of the third period inadvertently lifted a clearing attempt over the glass to earn a delay of game penalty. St. John scored the winner in overtime late in Barberio’s penalty. This was Moncton’s first loss of the year.
Lewiston MAINEiacs 7 @ Halifax Mooseheads 3
D Michael Ward, LEW: 0-1-1, E, 0 PIM, 0 SOG
Ward now has points in consecutive games.
