DeCoste scored the game's opening goal on the power play in his first game as a Bull, but Belleville couldn’t hang on to 2-0 and 3-2 leads and get a win. The Bulls lost the shootout 2-0 and now stand at 6-11-1-1 on the year, two points ahead of Ottawa for fourth in the East Division. DeCoste, who scored when he banged home a rebound off his own shot, now has a two game goal streak and three game point streak.
Barrie Colts 6 @ Owen Sound Attack 1
LW/C Alex Hutchings, BAR: 1-0-1, E, 2 PIM (tripping)
Season Totals: 18 GP, 9-10-19, +6, 10 PIM
Hutchings’ ninth goal of the season broke a mini two-game scoreless streak. He finished October with 13 points in 13 games (6-7-13).
Everett Silvertips 2 @ Lethbridge Hurricanes 3
RW Carter Ashton, LET: 0-2-2, +1, 0 PIM, *Third Star*
Season Totals: 16 GP, 9-11-20, -4, 28 PIM
Ashton (pictured) extended his point streak to five games with two primary assists Wednesday night. He has 10 points in those five games, but surprisingly for him, just two goals. He’s already nearing his career high for assists in a season, set last year at 20. He also had 30 goals and 50 points in 70 games last year.

Ugly, but I'll take it, I suppose.
Antero Niittymaki allowed 1 goal on 41 shots for the victory. I honestly don't know why there isn't a goaltending controversy at this point.
TB 18:34, Lecavalier 2 (Ohlund)
TOR 5:04, White 3 (Hagman, Beauchemin)(PP)
TB 2:21, Malone 9 (Tanguay)
It's lucky that A.) Nittymaki stood on his head again, and B.) Toronto is just awful enough to lose games like this even when they deserve to win. Allowing 41 shots to a team like the Leafs is a joke. Maybe the momentum and mojo the team will get from winning an overtime game will help them in the confidence department, but this is still a terrible Lightning team on the road.
Steve Downie was +1 with 2 hits in 11:44.
Drew Miller only played 4:09 in the game.
Zenon Konopka had 1 hit and was 75% on draws in 4:52.
James Wright played 13:25.
Victor Hedman was +2 with 1 shot, 1 hit, and 4 blocked shots in 25:46. He also had 4 PIMs, though.
The Tick only needs two goals of support.
Dustin Tokarski allowed just 1 goal on 26 shots for the win.
NOR Craig, (7) (Karsums, Tokarski), 1:29
MTB McCue, (1) (Maxwell, Salcido), 11:31
NOR Bochenski, (7) (Lundin, Simek), 2:19 (PP)
NOR Szczechura, (3) (Tyrell), 19:22 (EN)
