Killorn, Alexander

NCAA Game Night: 2-5-10

Harvard Crimson 5 @ Brown Bears 2
C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 0-2-2, E, 2 PIM (tripping), 4 SOG
Season Totals: 21 GP, 6-9-15, +1, 22 PIM

With his two assists Friday, Killorn (pictured) set a new career high for points in a season at 15. He had 14 last year as a freshman in 30 games.

No.17 Vermont Catamounts 5 @ Providence Friars 1
C/W Matt Marshall , UVM: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 1 SOG
Season Totals: 24 GP, 1-3-4, -4, 14 PIM

Marshall was back in the lineup on the fourth line as Vermont improved to 13-9-3 on the year.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2 @ Western Michigan Broncos 7
D Luke Witkowski , WMU: 0-0-0, E, 5 PIM (checking from behind, game misconduct), 0 SOG
Season Totals: 25 GP, 2-3-5, -10, 45 PIM

A big upset win for the Broncos over the Irish. Witkowski was thrown out early in the third period for checking-from-behind. He now faces a possible suspension.

Beanpot Game Night: 2-1-10

Harvard Crimson 0 @ No.14 Boston College Eagles 6
C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 3 SOG
Season Totals: 19 GP, 6-8-14, +1, 16 PIM

The streak without a Beanpot tournament title continues for Harvard, who hasn’t won since current Carolina Hurricanes broadcaster Tripp Tracy led them to a championship in 1993. Killorn had the game’s first shot and created more than a few scoring chances, but Harvard looked disorganized and was badly outplayed by BC.

NCAA Game Night: 1-23-10

Harvard Crimson 3 @ RPI Red Hawks 3
C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 1-1-2, +2, 0 PIM, 4 SOG
Season Totals: 18 GP, 6-8-14, +1, 16 PIM

Killorn and Canadiens' first rounder Louis Leblanc combined for two goals, including Leblanc’s with three seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Killorn had the only assist on that goal. Leblanc set up Killorn earlier in the game to give the Crimson a 2-1 lead.

No.17 Vermont Catamounts 1 @ No.15 UMass Minutemen 3 (1/16)
C/W Matt Marshall , UVM: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 2 SOG
Season Totals: 20 GP, 1-1-2, -4, 10 PIM

Vermont moved up from No.18 to 17 this week, but this loss may knock them back down in the USCHO poll.

Western Michigan Broncos 2 @ Bowling Green Falcons 3
D Luke Witkowski , WMU: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 2 SOG
Season Totals: 22 GP, 1-3-4, -9, 26 PIM

WMU essentially dropped both games vs. conference foe Bowling Green this weekend, including a shootout loss Friday.

NCAA Game Night: 1-22-10

Harvard Crimson 4 @ Union Dutchmen 1
C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM, 2 SOG
Season Totals: 17 GP, 5-7-12, -1, 16 PIM

Killorn was back to starting the game on the top line, but failed to register a point. Harvard is (finally) starting to heat up.

Western Michigan Broncos 4 @ Bowling Green Falcons 4 (OT)
D Luke Witkowski , WMU: 0-0-0, E, 2 PIM (roughing), 1 SOG
Season Totals: 21 GP, 1-3-4, -9, 26 PIM

Bowling Green won the shootout, 3-2.

NCAA Game Night: 1-18-10

NCAA

Dartmouth Big Green 1 @ Harvard Crimson 4
C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 0-2-2, +3, 0 PIM, 3 SOG
Season Totals: 16 GP, 5-7-12, -1, 16 PIM

Killorn, who started the game on the second line, is third on the Crimson in scoring behind Michael Biega (undrafted) and Louis Leblanc (Canadiens 1/09).

Northeastern Huskies 2 @ No.18 Vermont Catamounts 9 (1/16)
C/W Matt Marshall , UVM: 0-0-0, -1, 2 PIM (holding), 1 SOG
Season Totals: 19 GP, 1-1-2, -4, 10 PIM

Vermont avenged a Friday night home-ice loss to the Huskies in a big way. Despite Vermont putting up nine goals, Marshall somehow finished on the minus side of zero – the only Catamount to do so in the game.
