Jonathan Boutin stopped 35 of 40 shots faced before being pulled for the extra attacker which led to Toledo tacking on an empty net goal. Zbynek Hrdel had a power play goal as did John Toffey, his first as a pro. Brandon Elliot tacked on an assist on Toffey's talley. Brady Greco played a very chippy game with penalties that included a double minor for elbowing, fighting, instigation and high sticking.

Brady Greco scored his first professional goal. Unfortunately, ECHL.com's scoresheet doesn't tell much else, other than the fact David Currie was in net. Will post a full box score when it becomes available.

Update
Some 36 or so hours later ECHL.com finally has the box score. Zbynek Hrdel also had an assist on the game on top of Brady Greco's goal.

I wasn't going to make the accusation, but Coach Anzalone took his team's conditioning to task after the Chiefs' home opening loss to Reading. In the Lightning system, conditioning is key to generating forecheck and generating forecheck is the key to everything. Now if they can just find a defenseman to hit a breakout pass consistently...
