Submitted by pete on October 26, 2006 - 21:25Chris Lawrence had a second period power play goal, his seventh of the season, as Mississauga beat Barrie 4-1. Lawrence finished +1 for the game. The goal is Lawrence's first since returning from a head injury earlier this month.

CHL Game Night: 10/25
Submitted by pete on October 25, 2006 - 21:29Marek Bartanus was -1 with 4 PIMs in Owen Sound's 4-2 loss to Guelph.
Chris Lawrence and Mississauga will play at Barrie tomorrow night. Also, Swift Current will play at Lethbridge and Saskatoon will visit Prince George on Friday, although Dane Crowley and Vladimir Mihalik remain shelved with injuries.

Lawrence Named to OHL's ADT Canada-Russia Challenge Roster
Submitted by chad on October 25, 2006 - 11:24Lightning prospect and Mississauga Ice Dog Chris Lawrence has been named to Team OHL for their November 23 match-up against Russia as part of the 2006 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge. The game, which is part of a six-game exhibition between a Russian Select squad and all-star teams from the QMJHL, OHL, and WHL, will be played in Sarnia, Ontario. Lawrence was not named to the roster for the November 27 game in Oshawa. The Ice Dog forward currently has 6 goals and 5 assists in 7 games.

Kevin Beech stopped 23 of 25 in Sudbury's 3-2 win over Belleville.

CHL Game Night 10/20: The Walking Wounded Return Edition
Submitted by pete on October 20, 2006 - 22:09Chris Lawrence was -1 in Mississauga's 4-1 loss to Guelph. The game is Lawrence's first since sustaining an undisclosed head injury earlier this month.
Marek Bartanus was also -1 in his return from injury as Owen Sound clubbed London 5-2. Bartanus also had 2 PIM in the game.
Kevin Beech stopped 19 of 21 shots faced in Sudbury's 5-2 win over Peterborough.
Vladimir Mihalik is still out with a shoulder injury for Prince George and Dane Crowley remains out for Swift Current.
