ESPN is reporting C Nick Tarnasky and RW Darren Reid have been recalled from Springfield of the AHL. Tarnasky scored a hat trick last night including the overtime game winning goal against Bridgeport while Reid has been one of Springfield's best players over the past month.

QMJHL

Kevin Beech stopped 34 of 37 shots faced before beating Trevor Cann in the shootout as Sudbury bested Peterborough 4-3.

Marek Bartanus remained out of the lineup while Mike Angelidis scored 4 goals in Owen Sound's 6-2 beat down of Guelph.
