Johan Holmqvist stopped 29 of 31 shots faced in regulation/overtime before stopping 7 of 7 penalty shots in the shootout to outduel Rick Dipietro. Holmqvist is a perfect 5-0-0 in his last 5 starts and is now 5-2-0 on the season. Nikita Alexeev and Brad Richards had the Lightning's goals in regulation, but it took Dimitry Afanasenkov's shootout goal to secure the second point. Vincent Lecavalier had 2 assists and Filip Kuba chipped in an individual helper. Richards and Lecavalier were first and third stars of the game respectively. Holmer was robbed.

ECHL Game Night 11/17: Nailers at Chiefs

Gerald Coleman hitting his stride? Adam Henrich back from the abyss?

Coleman stopped 29 of 31 shots faced for the win. Since returning from an injury suffered in October, Coleman is 3-0-1 with a 2.75 GAA and .920 save percentage. Veteran Randy Rowe and Adam Henrich led the offense with 1 goal and 1 assist each. In his last three games Henrich has 3 goals and 6 points with 9 penalty minutes and a +4 rating. The other Chiefs goals were scored by Ryan Gibbons and Zbynek Hrdel. Individual assists belonged to Ian MacLean, Maxime Boisclair, Andre Deveaux and Radek Smolenak. MacLean was reacquired off of waivers after experiencing visa issues when he was originally taken off waivers earlier this month by Wheeling. Rowe, Henrich and Coleman were the three stars of the game.
