Game Night 12/27: Bruins at Falcons
Submitted by pete on December 27, 2005 - 21:58And the losing streak continues...
PRO-5
SPR-2
Gerald Coleman allowed 5 goals on 26 shots. The Falcons actually outshot Providence 31-26 but clearly didn't get the same level of goaltending the Bruins did. It may be time for Coach Graham to try and get Eklund back in the starters role or it may be time for the Lightning to recall Jonathan Boutin or Morgan Cey to Springfield. Clearly something has to change.

Smolenak Late WJC Cut for Czech Republic
Submitted by pete on December 27, 2005 - 16:09Radek Smolenak was a last minute cut for the Czech Republic prior to the WJC's opening matches. He and two other players were left off the Czech Republic's rosters just before the start of the tournament. This, obviously, explains Smolenak's absence from the lineup last night against Latvia.
