The natural balance of the universe reestablished as this loss almost certainly seals the Panthers' place in the draft lottery. FLA-1 TB-4 Sean Burke stopped 29 of 30 shots faced in the victory. Vicent Lecavalier carried the Lightning with 2 goals and an assist while Fredrik Modin hit a milestone with his 30th goal of the season. With his 41st NHL game, Ryan Craig also graduated from prospect status here on Bolt Prospects. Paul Ranger was a very nice +3 in 21:00 of ice time with 3 shots and one block. Ryan Craig was -1 in 16:16 with 4 shots, 1 hit and 1 block. Timo Helbling played just 2:18 with 1 hit but he wasn't the low man in ice time because Evgeny Artyukhin received just 2:06 of ice time with 1 shot on goal. Both players were even. Helbling's ice time was cut with the return of Dan Boyle to the lineup which forced Doug O'Brien out of the game sheet altogether. When Ryan Craig takes the ice tomorrow night at the Forum against the Panthers he will be in his 41st game of the season for the Lightning. By Bolt Prospects criteria, that will graduate him from prospect status making him the third Lightning prospect to become a full fledged NHLer this season. Congratulations to Craig for reaching this milestone.

It's just painful. SPR-2 PRO-6 Gerald Coleman stopped just 29 of 35 in the loss. Springfield got a power play goal from Ryan Vesce in the first on the power play from PJ Atherton and Dan Cavanaugh and a garbage time goal with 19 seconds left from Jason Jaspers. Jaspers' goal was his 25th from Kvapil and Blatny. Kvapil has 17 goals and 41 points in 72 games as a rookie.
