Linkopings defeated Farjestads 3-2 in overtime to even their semifinal playoff series at 1-1. Andreas Holmqvist did not suit up in the match for Linkopings. Game Three is scheduled for Sunday.

Farjestads defeated Linkopings 4-3 in overtime in the opening game of their semifinal playoff matchup. Defenseman Andreas Holmqvist was held scoreless in the match for Linkopings.

Andreas Holmqvist and #4 Linkopings have had the week off after having swept #7 seed Lulea out of the first round of the Elitserien playoffs. But, with a pair of game seven matchups completed today, the final four is finally set. Unfortunately, Linkopings will face #1 seed Farjestads in the second round of the Elitserien playoffs. The Elitserien semifinals begin on Wednesday.

Get out the brooms. Linkopings defeated Lulea today 5-2 to complete the first round sweep in the Elitserien playoffs. Lightning prospect Andreas Holmqvist, who led the team in scoring through the first three games of the season, lasted just 3:42 into Game Four before being kicked out for an ultra-rare Swedish league fight with Lulea's Tomas Surovy, formerly of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL ranks. Despite the absence of one of their most potent offensive weapons, Linkopings still managed to win easily and now, along with #1 seed Farjestads which also completed the sweep today in their series, await an opponent to be determined in the second round.
